XVIII AUSTRALIAN MASTERS GAMES 2021

The shooting events will take place between October 9th and 12th, 2021

BEEN THERE, DONE THAT…

From OWEN OLIVER – (Smallbore Rifle)
I am looking forward to another Australian Master Games to be hosted in Perth.

In 1993 I enjoyed being a participant when Perth hosted its first and only Australian Masters Games.  While I found them a lot more of fun, there was still a lot of serious shooting to be done.

In 2009 I was appointed as the Technical Delegate to oversee the running of all the events and ensure everything was in accordance with the advertised rules.  The same relaxed outlook of all the different competitors at the Australian Masters made my task so much easier.  There were very happy shooters getting awarded medals for success in their age category.

In 2021 I’m looking forward to being both an official for some events and a participant in others.

From TERRY MANGAN (Smallbore Rifle)

I travelled to Launceston Tasmania in October 2017 to compete in the Rifle Shooting events in the 16th Masters Games. I competed in ISSF prone and Sporter classes. I was fortunate to be able to come away with 3 medals in the ISSF class and 2 medals in the Sporter class. I thoroughly enjoyed myself while there and look forward to competing again in Perth 2021.
